Kingfisher Course

Includes all equipment, bait,  coach, assistant coach, Kingfisher Certificates.

Does not include transport or lunch

This can be run over a number of session morning or afternoon to make up the 20hrs required.

Maximum of 6 children. Children over 12yrs are required to have a rod licence and purchase their own day ticket.

 The Kingfisher Award is a nationally recognised award accredited by the Angling Trust/Angling Development Board. Only registered coaches can deliver the award. It comprises of both theory workshops and practical angling.

Theory elements cover, [ see sheet ] Practical elements include whip fishing, float fishing, setting up, casting, baiting up, playing and landing fish, unhooking correctly and handling correctly, and  fish identification.

There is a multi choice answer test at the end. All questions relate to what they have learnt on the course.
